Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located just inside the city wall on the far north side of the old town, offering a good central location within easy walking distance to everything. The rooms are acceptably sized, by European standards at least, and attached to the side, providing a view of the town. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, but there was some noise heard in the evenings and a bit of scarcity in the breakfast offerings. The historical city center is close by, giving quick foot access to all attractions between the city walls.
I stayed at this hotel on the edge of the old town in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, and it was a fairly quiet stay. The rooms were quaint and cozy, with a lovely view of the city wall from the dormer on the 3rd floor. They were equipped with pine furniture, comfortable beds, and a decent shower, although I found it odd that there was only one set of towels for both my wife and me. Despite the rooms being a bit compact, they provided a peaceful atmosphere.
The hotel is located within the charming old city walls, making it a fantastic spot for exploring the beautiful village. The rooms are small but clean and modern, offering a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent service. However, using the air conditioner comes at an extra cost, which could be a drawback. Overall, a great value for a stay in this quaint medieval town.
